Re: Madrix HTTP remote and cached links
Hi, I've posted my code for the iPad 3 interface below. It does some fancy stuff so that URLs aren't cached and also does some tricks so you can save it as a webapp and have it's own icon on an ipad. That way you don't have an address bar. Yay! Let me know if you have anything to add, or thoughts. I...

Madrix HTTP remote and cached links
Hi, I've been trying to use iPad UI to control a simple installation. I'm having a problem, that each button only works once, and then subsequent presses just load a locally cached version of the URL, without sending anything to the Madrix webserver. If I hit the refresh button, it works. I notice t...

Re: 3.5A FREEZE ON BOOT UP WINDOW HELP!
Hi, I also seem to have some random freezes on start-up with 3.5a. The most recent message on the Madrix startup screen says that it has loaded the fixture library. It seems to be related to the Network, if I disconnect or change the network settings I can get it to boot up. It's a Windows 7 bootcam...

Visual C++ Runtime Error
Hi, I have a client that is getting a repeated Visual C++ Runtime Error with Madrix. I don't know the specifics of the machine, but they say it's a i5 with 6GB of ram. I've attached a screenshot of the error that they're receiving. Do you have any idea what it might be. What are the first steps I ca...

Re: New Fixture Grouping
Hi, Thanks for the clarification. It would be great if you could select the fixture group you want to limit a layer to from the Mix Mode button, (or something similar) It's not always necessary to map the output, and as LED screen configurations are going to get more unique and complex, the bounding...

New Fixture Grouping
Hi, It's great to see that the mapping can use the new Fixture Groups as a preset, but it looks like the map that gets used is still only a bounding box of the wides and tallest area of that group. Is there a way to mask other areas? As a quick test I created a cross shaped group within the default ...

MADRIX hardware keys disappear
Hi,
Should the 3.1a issue address the MADRIX key issue? I've had that affect a few of my installations.
I didn't see it mentioned in the release notes. Can you think if a fix? Would a USB2 hub fix it?
Thanks,
Nathan

Re: Crash on MIDI
Great, Thanks.
I'll check it out. I think I've experienced that crash unrelated to MIDI, but didn't know what caused it.

Happy to report that the video refresh works well on the new i7 laptop I just bought to run the 32 universes for this latest installation:
